Providing healing care for our nation’s war heroes, their families, and even presidents, the Naval Medical Center is the nation’s largest and most distinguished military hospital. This bastion of care for the nation’s servicemen and women is the first destination for those wounded, ill, or injured from global conflicts.
With nearly 4,500 professionals in over 100 clinics and specialties, ranging from brain trauma to amputee care, the center sees an astounding one million beneficiaries each year. Located in Bethesda, Maryland the Center has over 2.4 million square feet of clinical space, representing a hope of healing to all who enter through its doors.
Minted from solid bronze, and finished with an antique patina, this medallion is dedicated to the former and current medical personnel who have proudly served this great hospital in its important role to care for this nation’s men and women in uniform. The reverse features a space for engraving.
