The obverse against a blue backdrop is the specialty insignia of the U.S. Navy Aircrew Survival Equipmentman. The reverse contains a stylized anchor design, which incorporates a full color rendering of the U.S. Navy’s official seal.
Minted in copper nickel and given antique silver finish, this coin is imbued with bold colorful enamel on both sides.
Each coin measures 1 3/4 inch (44mm) in diameter.
