The men and women of America’s military forces are asked every day to undertake hazardous and deadly missions in the defense of liberty and freedom. Though the risk is substantial, these determined guardians put their faith in a greater power to provide the strength they need no matter how daunting the operation might be.
Recalling the words of Paul- “Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil.” Ephesians 6:10-12. It reminds us that the evil we meet in the world manifests a more potent source of evil, this coin was fashioned to remind the worthy men and women of America’s military of the almighty strength upon which they can draw, whichever dark alley, desolate road, remote sea, or booby trapped cave they encounter.
Struck in a proprietary brass alloy in a special process called “splash minting,” this coin has exceptional detail and extra thickness. It has been given an antique bronze finish, and comes packaged in a detailed header card.
Each coin measures 1 3/4 inch (44mm) in diameter.
