Smokey Bear was introduced in 1944 as part of a national advertising campaign to prevent forest fires. After a few slogan changes, ”Only You Can Prevent Wildfires®” became the American icon’s recognizable phrase.
This coin is struck in high relief with colorful 3D UV-Print details, with the reverse showing the iconic visage of Smokey Bear. This commemorative medallion is given a brass-plating, antique finish.
