The Secret Service is mandated by Congress with two distinct and critical national security missions: protecting the nation’s leaders and safeguarding the financial and critical infrastructure of the United States.
Against a pitch-black backdrop, the obverse features the words “SECRET SERVICE” minted in bold characters. The reverse contains the phrase: “I wasn’t here.” Minted in a brass alloy, this coin is imbued with ebony enamel on both sides.
Each coin measures 1.75 inch (44mm) in diameter.
