Commemorate your visit to Mesa Verde National Park with this die-struck lapel pin created by master artisans. Great as a gift, to wear as a lasting reminder of your experience in America’s great outdoors, this splash-minted National Park lapel pin will be a timeless keepsake that you will treasure forever.
Located in the southwestern corner of Colorado, Mesa Verde National Park showcases the dwellings and culture of the Anasazi pueblo people. Spanish for “green table,” Mesa Verde is where the pueblo people made their home for over 700 years and is home to over 600 cliff dwellings. The park’s crown jewel is the Cliff Palace, the largest cliff dwelling in North America.
The pin shows the dwellings of the native Pueblan people and the date the park was founded in 1906. Minted in deep relief using a special process, this pin is struck in a brass alloy and given a beautiful antique patina.
