Fort Sill is the US Army’s home for field artillery. At Fort Sill, artillery soldiers are trained day and night to “put steel on target.” The Fort’s three-pronged approach to training and preparedness makes it one of the best training posts in the Army: it is comprised of the world renowned US Army Field Artillery School, the Field Artillery Training Center, and the IIId Armored Corps Artillery, the largest field artillery complex in the free world.

Gold-colored crossed canons rest on a deep maroon background. A black border holds FIELD ARTILLERY, FORT SILL, OK. The reverse features the US Army emblem.
Each coin measures 1.75 inches (44mm) in diameter.
