This coin is dedicated to all Master Chief Petty Officers, whose outstanding skill and determined leadership have earned them a distinguished place in America’s Coast Guard force. Featured on the obverse is a rendering of the distinctive insignia worn by these individuals, which depicts an eagle with wings spread wide resting on an inverted “rocker” above three yellow chevrons. Above the eagle’s wings are two stars.
Struck in a nickel alloy, this coin is accented with crisp enamel highlights.
