The USS Sentry is the second US Navy vessel to bear that name.

Minted in bronze and given antique finish, this coin pays tribute to the USS Sentry and salutes the exceptional service of her crew. The obverse contains a scene of the vessel cutting across the ocean on its way to fulfill its mission, with its nickname “SENTINAL OF THE SEA” on the lower edge. The reverse displays the United States Navy logo.

Each coin measures 1 1/2 inch (39mm) in diameter.
