The USCGC Line WYTL 65611 plays a fundamental role in safe guarding our coasts. A small harbor tug, she is a key component in a safe and well functioning waterway in Bayonne, New Jersey.
The USCGC Line has a displacement of approximately 72 tons and carries a crew of five. She is ideally suited for a variety of critical missions including search and rescue, law enforcement, and aids to navigation.
Minted from solid bronze and hand-finished with an antique patina for exceptional quality and detail, this coin pays tribute to the USCGC Line and salutes the exceptional service of her crew. The obverse, imbued with a bold enamel design, contains a picture of the USCGC Line gliding through New York Bay, with the Statue of Liberty standing tall in the background. The reverse displays the seal of the U.S. Coast Guard.
