USCG Port Operations School Training Center Yorktown

Occupying the easternmost tip of Virginia’s historical triangle, the USCG Port Operations School at Training Center Yorktown prepares both officers and enlisted personnel for the rigors of dealing with environmental pollution, as well as maritime security incidents and disasters.

This medallion is dedicated to the former and current Coast Guard and Civilian personnel who have proudly served this great school in its important role to train to protect this nation’s freedom. The obverse, imbued with bold colored enamel, features the emblem of Port Operations School. The reverse displays the seal of USCG Training Center Yorktown.
