Home to the U.S. Army’s most active airfield in the Pacific, U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys is a vital component to the United States’ presence throughout Asia. In addition to its airfield, there are several U. S. Army tactical and direct support units located on Camp Humphreys, including the 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, elements of the 1st Signal Brigade, 501st Military Inelegance Brigade, and the 65th Medical Brigade.
Minted in solid nickel, and hand-finished with an antique patina, this coin is dedicated to the men and women of USAG Humphreys, who help make freedom a reality for billions of men and women throughout Asia. The obverse features a U.S. Army UH-60A Black Hawk MEDEVAC over the USAG Humphreys crest, imbued with rich enamel accents. The reverse shows the country of South Korea in green, with a star signifying the location of USAG Humphreys.
This handsome challenge coin is bronze and given an antique finish, and is imbued with durable and attractive enamel.
