This coin salutes the courage, skill, and compassion exhibited by the trained professionals of the U.S. Army Nurse Corps. Against a maroon enameled backdrop, the obverse features the official Nurse Corps insignia. The reverse bears the seal of the U.S. Army.
Each coin measures 1.75 inches (44mm) in diameter.
