Description
A multi-agency body of federal leaders, the Interdiction Committee resolves serious issues with regard to the coordination, oversight and integration of international, border and domestic interdiction efforts in support of the National Drug Control Strategy.
The committee members provide advice to ONDCP on activities and threats posed by all drug trafficking activities that threaten the United States and the Western Hemisphere. It also advises on the operational adequacy, integration, and utilization of interdiction assets, as well as other matters of consequence in the accomplishment of operational interdiction objectives.
Minted from solid bronze, and finished with an antique patina, this medallion is dedicated to the multi-agency body of federal leaders charged with resolving serious issues with regards to the coordination, oversight and integration of international, border and domestic interdiction efforts in support of the National Drug Control Strategy.
