This coin pays tribute to the extraordinary courage and conviction demonstrated by firefighters throughout history. The obverse depicts St. Florian and a modern-day firefighter extinguishing a blaze. The reverse contains the complete text of the Fireman’s Prayer, which captures the spirit of the sacrifice embodied in all those who battle the smoke and flames to keep us safe.
