Description
The Reserve Forces Policy Board is, by law, a federal advisory committee within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. As mandated by Congress, it serves as an independent adviser to provide advice and recommendations directly to the Secretary of Defense on strategies, policies, and practices designed to improve and enhance the capabilities, efficiency, and effectiveness of the reserve components. The 20-member Board has a civilian chairman and includes a non-voting Military Executive and Senior Enlisted representative, a member or former member of each of the seven reserve components of the armed forces, and ten U.S. citizens with significant knowledge and experience in national security and reserve component matters.
Today’s Army Reserve is the most battle-tested and experienced in our Nation’s history. But whether performing combat missions a broad or saving lives and protecting property at home, the Army Reserve will continue to offer versatile, available and effective capabilities to the Army and the Nation at reduced cost to the American taxpayer. As the dedicated Federal Reserve Force of the Army, the Army Reserve exists to serve the Army and the Nation, and has never failed to accomplish its mission.
This adhesive medallion honors the commitment of the Reserve Forces Board for keeping in order the service men and women of the Army Reserve as they are needed for the branch of the U.S. Army.
Minted in a brass alloy, this medallion contains rich enamel accents.
Peal the paper off the back and these medallions will permanently stick to any clean and hard surface.
We have seen them stuck on windows, mirrors, locker doors, and refrigerators. We do not recommend affixing adhesive medallions to the exterior of moving vehicles.
Each adhesive medallion measures 2 inches, (50mm) in diameter.
This coin features an out of date design and will not be remade after product is sold out.
