Description
The fastest mammal in North America, the Pronghorn can reach speeds of up to fifty miles per hour.
Closely related to the North American antelope, Pronghorns roam in herds across open, rolling grasslands. Standing approximately three feet tall, they typically weigh between 90-150 pounds. Its trademark two-pronged horns typically measure up to 16 inches in length and are slightly curved at the ends. Easily spotted, the Pronghorn’s acute eyesight, excellent hearing, and sharp reflexes make it extremely difficult to approach.
