Completed in 1943, The Pentagon has been the logistical hub for all U.S. Military operations for more than five decades. This pentagon-shaped coin commemorates The Pentagon’s central role in protecting the American people and defending America’s interests throughout the world. The obverse features a detailed rendering of the Pentagon set against black enamel. The reverse depicts the seal of the U.S. Army in full color.
Minted in bronze and given antique finish, this coin is accented with richly-colored enamels.
Each coin measures 1 3/4 inch x 1 5/8 inch (44mm x 42mm) Pentagon shaped.
