Since 1871, the National Rifle Association (NRA) has vigorously defended the right of every American to keep and bear arms, a freedom enshrined in the text of the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution.
Through its nationwide advocacy and education efforts, the NRA continues its mission to preserve the principles of freedom established in the Constitution by our nation’s Founding Fathers, who plainly stated that the right to bear arms is essential to national security and individual liberty.
As an official NRA partner, Northwest Territorial Mint is proud to offer this unique commemorative coin. The obverse features the NRA Eagle logo set against a richly enameled backdrop. The reverse features the text of the Second Amendment and includes a quote from Thomas Jefferson that reads: ‘No Free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.’
This coin is truck with an antique bronze finish. Each coin comes packaged with a header card that describes the NRA’s commitment to protecting the Second Amendment rights of all Americans.
Each coin measures 1 1/2 inch (38.1mm) in diameter.
