Solitary predators, Mountain Lions use their powerful limbs and razor sharp claws to overpower large and small mammals such as moose, elk, rabbits, and beavers. These fearsome cats measure up to six feet long and weigh as much as 190 pounds. Proficient climbers, Mountain Lions can leap up to 20 feet in pursuit of their prey and will travel as far as twenty-five miles to assail their victims.
