This antique bronze finish challenge coin is covered in rich enamel paint. The obverse features an image of the city of Portland Oregon in the background, with an orange banner carrying the symbol of the U.S. Coast Guard, as well as a red rose in the foreground. After all, Portland is known as the city of roses. The reverse carries the official symbol of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Each coin measures 1 3/4 inch (44mm) in diameter.
