The crashing waves, beaches, swamps, and sand dunes of Chesapeake Bay and Base Little Creek-Fort Story have provided soldiers and sailors of the US Army and Navy with a natural landscape and exemplary amphibious training facilities since the early twentieth century.
Established in 2009, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story is a US Military base commanded by the US Navy in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
