Students come from all military services, typically from elite organizations such as the U.S. Army Special Forces, and Rangers, attend the Military Free Fall School. The school is part of the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, a joint forces training school covering all aspects of military free fall parachuting.
Minted from solid nickel alloy, using special deep-relief coining dies, and hand-finished with an antique patina for exceptional quality and detail, this coin celebrates qualified U.S. Army free-fall parachutists and their contributions to American freedom. The obverse features the badge of the HALO qualified soldier.
