This coin captures the spirit of the Freedom’s Flame Memorial, one of America’s most compelling monuments to the tragedy of September 11, 2001.

The obverse features a detailed rendering of the Freedom’s Flame Memorial depicted below the words: “Our Nation Remembers.”  The colorful crest on the coin’s reverse incorporates elements from the American Flag.

This intricately designed commemorative coin is minted in a brass alloy and contains an antique bronze finish. The reverse is selectively enameled in patriotic red, white and blue.

Each coin measures 1 1/2 inches, (39mm) in diameter.
