Sporting antlers that can weigh up to twenty-five pounds, they are easily spotted trotting through forests in search of their food, which consists mainly of moss, lichen, and a variety of grasses.

This coin features a detailed depiction of an Elk on its obverse. Bordered by a classic wreath design, the reverse contains a space for engraving.
