Featured on the obverse is a rendering of the distinctive insignia worn by these individuals, which depicts an eagle with wings spread wide resting on an inverted “rocker” above three yellow chevrons. A single star is depicted above the eagle. Featured on the reverse is the shield of the Coat of Arms of the United States, superimposed over a fouled anchor emblazoned with a single star, denoting the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer.
