We Support Our Troops.

America Supports You connected individuals, organizations and companies to hundreds of non-profit support groups, called home front groups, offering a variety of support services to the military community. The groups provide support in many ways, including writing letters and e-mails, sending care packages, offering scholarships, and helping wounded service men and women when they return home. The America Supports You program also connected military service members and their families to home front groups that provide assistance.

America’s military personnel risk their lives each and every day to secure our safety and defend our freedom. Fearlessly engaging the enemy America’s soldiers, sailors, and airmen executed their duties with unmatched skill and uncommon courage, enabling America to fulfill its promise to combat terrorism throughout the world. Answering the call to arms at a moment’s notice, these men and women have greatly enhanced America’s national security, to protect and preserve the freedom of all Americans, their service and sacrifice continues to keep us safe.

The obverse features the official Department of Defense “America Supports You” emblem. The reverse contains the official seals of the five branches of America’s Armed Forces.

This coin salutes the tireless determination and uncommon courage of all those who serve the U.S. Military with pride. Struck in a brass alloy and accented with bold enamel color on both sides.
