This coin salutes the skill and determined leadership of all those who serve the Acquisition and Finance occupational specialty of the U.S. Air Force. The obverse features the insignia proudly worn by these individuals. The reverse bears the wing and star emblem of the Army Air Corps, also called the “Hap Arnold” wings.
Minted and struck in a nickel alloy, this coin has special two tone plating. The obverse has an antique brass finish with semi-sandblast and the reverse is given the classic antique silver plating; accented with crisp blue enamel highlights.
Each coin measures 1 7/8 inch (47mm) Round in diameter.
